Good morning! Just want to take a moment to say thanks for swinging by the house on a Saturday to pick up bread. We know Saturdays can be hectic, and we do appreciate your efforts (for those of you who bike or walk over, “efforts” is literal even). We think about customers a lot as we make decisions for the bakery. Actually, we think of you as our bread community...we are very much a community-supported bakery. You keep us engaged and connected, and we appreciate that. Thanks for the conversations as well - we enjoy hearing what’s going on in our community and appreciate your perspectives.
Also, thanks to those who helped us “test pilot” the new bread last week. Einkorn is always our best-seller, but last week, the Parmesan Peppercorn came in a close second. There were some lessons learned in scaling up that bread recipe, and we’re still on the hunt for that cheese in cube form, but this method of scaling up with your assistance was extremely helpful.
Let us know if you like any of the new breads. We’ll take that into account as we determine how often to offer them. And as always, let us know if there’s something you haven’t seen on the menu in a while that you’d like to have available. We’re bringing back one new bread (Cinnamon Pecan) and one new-for-2024 bread (Sunflower Seed) this week.
