Good morning! A couple items to note:

If you're going to be in downtown Lafayette this coming Saturday, Community Food Share of Louisville will be holding their annual Bake Sale in Festival Plaza between 9am-11am. We won't be onsite for the event, but we will have some baked goods we're donating that will be available for purchase. (We'll also still be holding our usual pickups at our house and the farm stand.)

Next week, we will be taking the weekend (October 19-20) off to get caught up on some bakery things and refuel before the Winter Share and holiday season begin. You'll have three chances to stock up before then (Oct 9, 12, and 16), and yes, our baked goods do freeze well.

P.S. We are bringing back the Kernza Sourdough Bread this week after some requests for it. It has a nice, slightly spicy aroma when baking (and a hint of that flavor), so it seems fitting for October.
