Welcome to Poormon Farms. Our family farm has been in operation since the 1800’s. In the early days, our family mainly focused on producing beef, dairy, corn, and small grains. In 1996 I purchased my first plot of land from my uncle. Over the next twenty years I grew the farm to almost 500 acres by merging land from retiring family members. In 2012, as New York's craft beverage industry was taking off, we planted our first crop of barley and never looked back.
