Good morning!
We’re pleased to announce that we are offering our Sourdough Crackers with Sea Salt for preorders starting this week. We will be limiting quantities initially, not as a gimmick but rather as an attempt to scale up slowly and without sacrificing quality. We’ll still continue to have these at the farm stand as well, but we want to make sure that our regular customers who preorder also have the opportunity to purchase them.
Right now, we’re making these crackers with stone-ground White Sonora wheat flour from Jones Farms Organics in Hooper, CO. The sourdough provides a mild tanginess that some people have described as cheese-like, though I think that the butter shines through in the flavor as well. In the future, we’ll be offering different varieties of crackers, so stay tuned for those as well.
